Brain busting puzzle game
Tritangle is a color matching puzzle game, where you race against the clock to fill patterns with multi colored triangles.
Each level gives you an empty pattern, next to which is a bank of colored triangles. You have to fill the pattern, making sure each side of every triangle matches its neighbors colors. to start with this seems easy, but as the patterns get more complicated, it becomes really hard to get everything to fit together. You pick up triangles with a left click, and rotate them with the mouse-wheel or right click.
The gameplay is simple to pick up, and quite addictive. Visually it's quite basic, the color scheme seems to be inspired by Spectrum ZX graphics, which is a pity. Some things, like the clock that counts down on every level are difficult to understand. That's not a massive problem, as you know your target is to complete levels as fast as possible. The music is pretty average, but can be turned off. The biggest flaw is that there is no windowed mode, as a puzzle game like this really shouldn't require the whole screen
It's not beautiful, but it's really compelling and the 41 levels should really stretch your brain power!
